A-line, maxi length white half petticoat or petticoat skirt has a pin-tucked hem trimmed with narrow cotton lace. Elastic at the waist. The fabric appears to be a polished cotton. It's a handmade garment, so no labels. Probably 1950s-1960s, but possibly older.

• Hip measures  101 cm (40"), to fit up to 97 cm (38")
